IHY Seed Stage Grant
InnovateHealth Yale (IHY) will present one $10,000 award to “develop an innovative solution to address a health challenge that disproportionately impacts low-income communities in the United States or low-resource countries.” All Yalies are welcome to apply, and teams can include non-Yale students. The winning team must agree to compete in the $25,000 Thorne Prize for Social Innovation in Health or Education.
Aetna Foundation Prize for Health Equity Innovation Seed Stage Grants
InnovateHealth Yale will award two $10,000 grants for solutions to health challenges that affect low-income communities. All Yalies, as well as students from any Connecticut college or university, are welcome to apply. One of the awards will go to Yale, and the other will go to a team from a CT university. Winners agree to compete in the $25,000 Aetna Foundation Prize for Health Equity Innovation.
2017 Yale Healthcare Hackathon
The annual hackathon, presented by the Yale Center for Biomedical and Interventional Technology (CBIT) and the Yale School of Medicine Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, will take place January 20-22, 2017 at the Yale School of Medicine. The 2017 theme is The Future of Medical Imaging, and it is not necessary to arrive at with a team—most participants arrive as individuals and form teams with other participants over the weekend.
